Hello Northern Boy,

How deep is the water where we're fishing? I ask because at Fort Ross, we were
fishing anywhere from 75-130 feet of water. I want to change my line to braid
so I can feel the bite and set the hook without doing a samurai motion.

What time is everyone launching. Looks like im going to have to leave early. Lol

M'lady and I plan to be on the water at ~sunrise. The wind will probably kick up sometime in the afternoon.

If we're already on the water when folks get there, don't worry, we won't be going too far and we can always be hailed on Ch 69.

Sunrise is ~7, so don't get there too early!

You should be able to see us from the launch.

Jeff - I sent you a PM. Let me know if you still want to carpool.
I wouldn't go so far as to call a lingcod filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a lingcod's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Is that Peter Crouch?

It certainly is. Comparions have been drawn between him and a certain exiled English Kayak Fisherman.

I'm not sure that's a good thing.

Okay, I'm going to be there for sure, my wife maybe.

I have been given some real good confirming advise.

I'm a bit nervous (sharks, seals, entanglement, rock, hypothermia, flipping, sea sick????????...) but ready as I'll ever be.

I'm wondering what  is a "Farmer Johm"?

Oh Yes, I'd like to mention how friendly everyone has been.

All I know about yaking I've read online and have been advised by the people here on this site.

Whats up with three day charter in Oct?

Thank You All,
Jason
