so if I can get a dog sitter, then i have a whole day- and am thinking of hitting up Duncan's Landing.  Duncan's is up along the way to fort ross-- looks like a bit of a carry down hill, and looks very fishy

Unless of course, the salmon are going off- in which case its one of those "usual" beach launches.

I have fished that beach before and it does look really fishy.  I remember the trail down to the beach being very steep.

I live near there and believe me there aren't any fish to be found there.  Just ask Levi (a.k.a "Steele_Leader") if you don't believe me.

monday might be a possibility- wife goes to pick up mom after work, so let me see if she's coming back home.  Either way would have to be a slightly late launch-- 9:30 or so
