One of the best days condition-wise of the year. Fishing was good too. Nailed this ling on the first drop and limited on rockies with no problems. Trail going down was not bad, but going back up I had to take the yak off the cart and carry it up the upper portion of steps. About 45 of them and it's pretty steep. The lower section of steps has some ground to one side of the steps so you can bypass them. Fished up to the north end of Fisk Mill cove and never really found any fantastic pinnacles or big drop offs but the kelp is so thick right now it may have been hiding them. Stopped in at Stillwater and talked to ravensblack and crew and they reported good fishing and ab diving. Way to go guys! Freezer getting fuller and life is good.   jim/redyak
