Man, wtf was I doing in the dust and 104 heat???  I shoulda joined ya.  Wouldn't be my first time dealing with bitter natives, either.

What a way to get skunked....  I'm so jealous!

Eric and Adam, Your descriptions, pictures and videos captured our adventure perfectly. Here is a little of my take.
The Klamath was a first time experience that will be repeated. We rolled into town with a plan.... gather as much intel as possible prior to hitting the river. We interrogated anyone willing to talk to us starting with the DFG fish counters then moved on to the trailer parks where anyone outside their trailers was politely questioned. The information was digested and plans were made for the following day. Some of the info was spot on and some was questionable.........like the people that told us the nets were taken down at 10 pm and not allowed up till 8 am. Monday morning we entered the water before seven only to find the nets had been up possibly all night, making us wonder if the nets would  actually be removed (we wouldn't be there to witness) on the two days a week the river was to be free of nets.
The manager of Cat's RV park told me that even when the "quota" was reached the natives would be allowed to fish for their own consumption.......shouldn't that be part of the quota?.....if that is indeed true.
Beautiful scenery spent with friends and family made for another great adventure!!
