the city of pacifica has a bunch of new anti-fun rules, no alcohol and no fires on the beach, not to mention a new curfew. has this been addressed.

Chris, maybe your right, we may have to think of a different plan. I spoke with some friends tht had a bon-fire saturday night out there, and they stopped them on the way to the beach, maybe I should have done a little more research before I started this post. any suggestions?

Not exactly a Bonfire, but a good excuse to get together and drink beer on kayak!

Would a permit from the city be needed to have an "organized" bonfire at the beach???

We've had a few bone fires and BB Q's at ocean beach around NORIEGA BLVD,park near the houses and wheel all we need to beach area. The beach is not that far from the street and we've never been ask to leave or put out any of our bone fires.SECOND:If we have the fish/BBQ on Saturday the 17Th we can camp in HALF MOON BAY at the beach. There is a state camp ground there and its first come first serve. This can help out with whom ever will be traveling from far away.I would be willing to get there early on Friday and set up some tents for at lease three camps.Give this a thought .
