Well as they say immitation is the sensearest form of flatery. Well that does not realy work because I did not know you existed till I got a PM.  So I just got to say hello.  :smt006

Don't worry there is no need to quit I do not have a beard.

So if you are the original FisHunter  that would make me the new and improved Fis_Hunter.  :smt002

I'm still trying to figure out what a "fis" is, and when they're in season.  :smt102

This wave site shows potential low swell Sat - Mon...

http://www.stormsurfing.com/cgi/display.cgi?a=mendo

...but the wind forecast on NWS at this point is not good:

...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY FOR WINDS AND HAZARDOUS SEAS IN EFFECT THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING...

.THU...N WIND 15 TO 25 KT...BECOMING NW 10 TO 20 KT IN THE AFTERNOON. WIND WAVES 6 TO 8 FT. NW SWELL 9 TO 11 FT AT 11 SECONDS.  .THU NIGHT...N WIND 15 TO 25 KT. WIND WAVES 4 TO 6 FT. NW SWELL 10 FT. PATCHY FOG.
.FRI...NW WIND 15 TO 25 KT. WIND WAVES 5 TO 7 FT. NW SWELL 8 FT. PATCHY FOG.
.SAT...N WIND 20 TO 30 KT. WIND WAVES 7 TO 9 FT. NW SWELL 8 FT. PATCHY FOG.
.SUN...N WIND 20 TO 30 KT. WIND WAVES 7 TO 9 FT. NW SWELL 8 FT. PATCHY FOG.

If you're coming up be ready to stick it out - hopefully Monday will be the day for the ocean, and otherwise I think I'm going up to the Klamath to go for a salmon/steelie combo.

Sorry I won't be joining ya'll, but I do plan on diving/fishing out of Van Damme this weekend so I thought I'd share some research.

This swell forecasting is tricky stuff, so I'm still optimistic conditions will cooperated.

The OK Forecast....

The Bad Forecast....

Then it gets worse Forecast

Side note: I'm glad everyone it getting along with this Hunter/Sticker thing behind us.   Without harmony on the site we may anger the seas and none of us will be fishing this final weekend before the closure north of Pt. Arena.  :smt044

I am sorry it's over (FH/FS) as I was having fun jacking up Adam........and almost managed to steal "FisHunter" while he was parading around a "The Original Fis_hunter" but he out smarted me and took it back in the nick of time. I think it was all good clean fun.....at least from my point of view. Welcome aboard "FishSticker" you made it through the hazing..........and did it with style.

Hi Abking,
