Rusty bait knife... check.

Shimmy to do the hard and dangerous jobs... check.

Hose clamp from some guy's bait tank... check.

So you get way down the bay when the 5 cups of coffee and bran muffin start working their magic.  You hit the shore and take care of business.  One emergency avoided, but a new problem created.

Using the SAME rusty bait knife cut the sleeves off of your t-shirt.  Everyone will just think your a tough guy and you'll be fresh as a daisy!

Had that happen to a friend while goose hunting once. Laughed just as hard then.
