Wanted to let everybody know that tomarrow early AM we will be leaving for Lake Tahoe. YAHOO!!! Wanted to let all know that you can give me a call on my cell phone, (707) 477-9759 or my wifes phone (707) 206-2727. We will be camping at "Campground By The Lake" in South Lake Tahoe. We have a generator to keep all of the phones and computer going while we are up there, so the phones should stay charged. My son and daughter will be up, but they have to go home this coming Fri morning. The wife and I will be up until the morning of 8/14. If you would like to hook-up on the lake give me a call. Look forward to doing some fishing!!!  :smt044  :smt044  :smt044

I'm going to be on the west shore 8/9 - 8/16.  I still don't have a FF (!) so I will probably just fish the shallows for Rainbows.  Steve, are you going to be up there at all during that time?

I'm located over in Incline (North Lake)... give me a shout when you know when you're fishing and we can try to hook-up.  Fishing the long line in the shallows has been slow of late and the earlier your get started in the morning the better.  Jigging deep (80-200ft) with minnows is your best bet later after trolling (20-50ft).

See ya

Keep your radios on 69... Melissa and I are planning to spend the weekend up there. Most likely on the North Shore but maybe head down the West side. I'll give a shout out if we get on the water. Hopefully, some NCKA brothers and sisters will be close by to hook up.

Well, it looks like a lot of people are up here. I have been wanting to go out of Cave Rock area. I'm down in South Lake Tahoe City, about 3-4 miles from the casino's. I have already posted my phone# Give a call. My family and I are going to the local yak shop and rent some yaks and try out some different ones. Give a call and we can meet up. Rory

I'll need to figure it out once I get up there on the 9th.  I'll have an extra yak with me as well.  Cell is (415) 999-6541.  :smt006

well, since i was hoping that anything i catch mght go into AOTY it would likely be kings beach area, but Incline is just right down the hill 5 min so i may just skip the AOTY part.

I was gonna post about a suggested AOTY rule change-- make it "accessible from CA waters, or requiring a CA fishing license" - this would do two things, one make all of LT open, as well as some of the colorado river, and two IF we get a salmon season, not have to worry about the 3 mile limit.  And yes, i wanted to ask about "mothershipping" as well....
