Caitlin (flute) and Victoria(trumpet) board there separate planes tonight for the event of a young persons lifetime. "CHINA OLYMPICS". James Logan High School has one of the best music programs in the nation and these lucky kids have been invited to perform not only in the Olympics themselves but the first foreigners to perform in Tannemen Square. This is huge and Papa Frank is beaming with pride. Their band is so big that they have had to charter 4 jets to get them there and back.I believe there are approx. 250 kids going from the original band of well over 300 including the color guard which took first place in the "World Competition" last year. Totally firedup. Frankfishing

It's amazing to watch your kids grow up and see them do things that are just awesome. From the ballparks to the mats to the performances and then they keep going. I think that it's the going part that we'll have to just wait and see.
Caitlin jumps on her hop at 0130hrs followed by her sister at 0700hrs. Luckily we just have to drop them off at their charter buses which meet them at the school. Going to be a long nite for their Mom and I but then again I think will be watching the events with a different eye these Olympics.
They had a farewell concert last Sat. and played the theme songs from the Olympics their must be a leak in the roof because water keep running down my chin.
Thanks for the pats fellows and i'll pass them along to these kids who truly have put their hearts and souls into this.
