Sorry for the bouncing today but it looks like we have officially outgrown yet another server. I will get a new one on order and we should be able to switch over sometime after Elk. In the meantime I appreciate the patience and understanding. :-)

Drive space? Or not enough CPU?

Disk is not fast enough to keep pace under reasonably heavy load. This box is about 3-4 years old tech wise, time for a refresh!

Bill,

I have a pretty good relationship with an IBM integrator. It would be very easy for him to significantly beat the IBM web price on x series servers, if you are interested. And, he's in New Hampshire, so likely there'd be no sales tax.

Scott

I appreciate the offer but I just rent a server from the hosting company. If you know someplace I can get cheap/free colo space then I might be interested in talking! :-)

I can't help you there unfortunately. Either we hosted our gear ourselves, or it was in with Hurricane Electric, which as far as I know, is not a low price leader when it comes to colocation.

I don't think you should be allowed to say "colocat**n" on this site.
