We use Skyy Citrus instead of tequila.  Not a true margarita I know, but that's what my wife likes, so that's what I make.  Frozen strawberries, Splenda, splash of lemon or lime, & Skyy added in the glass so the 5 yr old & 2 yr old can have some too.

Sounds yummy - I'll try it.  I don't know about the Splenda though!  :smt001

At 5'11" & 145# the Splenda ain't fer me!  But the wife got into it when Gest Diabetes kicked in on our last kid.  The recipe is a nice twist, & you can leave the tequila & vodka on the side & make it as you want it.  I also try to make a bunch extra & freeze single portion sizes in quart ziplocks for easy use later.  And if you use frozen strawberries you can cut back on the ice that would water down the drink.  Gives it more of a smoothie texture.  Hell, throw in a banana & you have breakfast!
