Uminchu and I hit the fort at O-dark thirty to FAC conditions. Naoaki wanted to break in his new Okuma kayak fishing rod and I needed some fish for the 4th of July. We fish the north fort-ross reef and found good fishing action.  The drift and wind where virtually non-existent and the bite was on.  Nao had the hot stick, landing a nice red, a couple nice browns and a nice copper.  Then he had two good lings the smaller was released.  I had a few nice blues and farmed one nice ling at the boat.  We had limits by 9AM.  I love days like these.

Nice guys.  I made it out to the Oregon coast for the first time on the 1st and I could barely scratch up a black and a greenling.  I miss Ft. Ross.

I really gotta check into photo shop. Those pics are great.
How difficult is it to crop out just the fish from whatever pic that was taken?

Thanks for sharing your adventure! Good pics of stringers and smiles. The 2 cutout pics are ID worthy.
