Found a pretty good site that's updated frequently for Capitola.

Today a yakker did really well with a pair of hali's up to 34lbs.

Hope it holds up for the last week in July, the week before Elk.  Any takers welcome that week.  Will be renting a house on the shore at Pleasure point.  Pretty cool site.  Seems like a nice mixed bag with bait around!

That's what I'm talking about!!
I'm gonna try to make down there early July. I used to live and fish there. I miss it. Never fished it in a yak though.
It's gonna' happen.
If you don't know where you're headed, any road could get you there.

Wow,
That guy (X Factor) is definitely ON FIRE!!!  Buy some lotto tix bro!  Looking forward to the belated report and better quality pix.

Chuck,
I've had some good days fishing Crappy, but really haven't fished it in several years.  I think of it, perhaps, as you do the Rockwall  :smt003
It can PRODUCE (stripers, halis and wsb), but a lot of times its in the evening when the bait comes in.  Too bad I'm typically an AM person.  Besides, I like places where parking is more hassle free.

BTW, sorry for my incorrect fish ID in the other post.  I didn't realize that your "golfball" was actually a tuna.. :smt044
