started off meatin ericb and fishunter at the bean and wasnt impressed with the look of the swells(only 3rd time in the big blue on my yak)pushed out against my better judgement but after tying a few knots i started to feel the sickness. adam babysat me to time the sets to get back in unscathed(adam... you are the man!)after lumping my heavy ass kayak back up to the truck and was not about to give up so i headed torwards home to check out linda mar.it looked great so i launched and headed out to pedro rock where i ran into another kayaker goin for rockies as well.long story short.....had to work hard (6 hours)for a black and yellow, golpher, kelp,a small throwback china and my 1st legal cab.no pics of the fish as my buddy cleaned them for me as i was washin off the yak before i realized i wanted to take a pic. still a great day besides the start

Yep,....those knots will knock you down everytime....no babysittin', just getting you back, without a mishap was what was needed...my first Yak-Ocean attempt was the exactly the same...got out, came back.
I've been out there many time on my "other" MadnessCraft, but the "feeling" on the yak was very UNUSUAL and different.....I said,"I'm feeling uncomfortable and going back in."....he said,"you better turn around now, I see Gary bailing too!"

You'll get more and more "nutzy" each time out. :smt044
