On the water at 11, a bit too late, but we were taking Anitas new yak out so it wasnt ALL ABOUT THE FISH this time. I picked up 6 jumbo agents and caught nada. Marked a few but...
Got one good slam when I was trolling a rebel, who knows?... There was a paddle fest happening so I was bombarded with fishing ?s, but I didnt mind too much, I wasnt very busy with fish so...
Anita LOVES her new Venus 11, its fast, sleek and I-pod ready and she says "watch out, there's competition in town!" I think she needs to hook into a mendo 15 lber, then she will REALLY be hooked.

Good outing there ben.  I went up to Pinecrest the last couple days but my girl insisted on one of those 12' klamath rentals, a 5 horse motor, twelver of corona and some cheese and cracker snacks.  There were kayaks all over the place up there but I couldn't see if anyone had legs or not, it was kinda eerie. :dontknow:  JTF

Way to go Ben. Natomas is a great lake to paddle but, a lousy one to fish. Anita is looking good on her new yak though. I'll let Melissa know that there's some competition heading her way.

Good to see you and Anita sharing your time and passion on the water.  Way to build the WAF points.

Ben,

Anita is going to love the V11.  The same day I bought my Prowler13, I bought my wife (Donna) a blue V11. She struggled a little last summer, she had a 220cm paddle that was recommended by Kayak Connection. It looked to me like she was having a hard time getting a full stroke with that paddle, so this spring we traded it for a 230cm.. Damn, now I have to paddle like hell to keep up with her and boy is she happy!!! :smt003
