Hey Adam, I think you have the date wrong. Fri is the 20 and sat is 21. Will try to make it out there on Fri.

Fishunter.....what bouy report did you check.....im sick of tryin to get an idea of conditions from noaa......thanks in advance!
I check surfline.com(it's a surfers site w/live cams and swell/wind details. Then I cross ref. with the NOAA and any other Marine Bouy readings.

thanks bro!...i fixed it and hope to see you on fri-morn.

Saw the question about overnight stay locations... isn't there a hostel at the Pigeon Point lighthouse? Reason I mention it is I've had some luck in the past simply sleeping in my truck for just one night at other norcal hostels (not a hippie... just european). All it took was a friendly conversation with the resident director... no guarantee though. Shoot, a dorm style bed, hot shower, and use of the kitchen can't be more than $20... bed bugs extra if its a wee bit dirty. Just a thought, and maybe not a good one. (My apologies for the quasi thread-hijack)
Knock 'em dead guys!
That's correct! We've contemplated a "nite-over" there durring a weekend of glassy ocean & a light case of scabbies, might be well worth it!

I'm planning on it, provided I get my truck out of the shop tomorrow (pleaseohpleaseohplease). It'll be my first time fishing in about a month.

Are you guys still hooking up Saturday? I've been camping up at Buck's Lake near Quincy (report coming tomorrow morning), and I need to stick around Friday to build a little WAF before I bail for another day of fishing.  :smt003

I've never been out RF-ing on a kayak and I am a little anxious on launching and landing. I am planning for Sat if anyone has time and patience with a rookie.

Thanks,

LL

Though I have not fished the Bean yet, I did launch there for my first time out on the salt, to get some surf experience.  That said, I haven't been back to fish yet (bUtIwIlL!) because I know my limits and of stories like these:

Conditions look good for tomorrow so if your up to the challenge, go for it.  But be prepared because the Bean demands much respect!

That said, GO GET EM GUYS!!!  I'm gonna stick the SC area for now  :smt003
