30-45min drive down Hwy 1.....it's a ONE wave Shore-DUMPER.
Not the rolling whitewash that's at LM.

pic1~ last friday morning

pic2~ the openner on 6/1...see the mouth...it protects the right side of beach (usually)

pic3~ the right spot to launch from is the RIGHT SIDE of beach.

I can't make Friday, but will be there Saturday ear-lay, if things look good.
I would have taken Friday off, but the darned fire made me use my PTO too soon.

I should be there.

I really wish there was a place to park and sleep in the truck off the hwy, so I didn't have to make that drive 1st thing in the AM.

When we were down at PigeonPt. there were RVs' in the parking lot before we [email protected].   maybe they let you in the lot if you sleeping inside of vehicle?
They were there before we got there and stayed there after we left that afternoon.
see you Friday morning!

Saw the question about overnight stay locations... isn't there a hostel at the Pigeon Point lighthouse? Reason I mention it is I've had some luck in the past simply sleeping in my truck for just one night at other norcal hostels (not a hippie... just european). All it took was a friendly conversation with the resident director... no guarantee though. Shoot, a dorm style bed, hot shower, and use of the kitchen can't be more than $20... bed bugs extra if its a wee bit dirty. Just a thought, and maybe not a good one. (My apologies for the quasi thread-hijack)
Knock 'em dead guys!
