Mendo Bait Shop

I sent the wife on a recon mission yesterday.  The bait shop on Lake Mendocino Drive near the south boat ramp is again open for business.  The women working there told my wife they would be open seven days a week and open at 0700 each day.  She said they would have live minnows available by early next week. We will see how it goes this time...  More to come as soon as I get a day off I will try and get more intel.

Can anyone confirm if the shop is selling bait now and do they really open at 7am?

Minnows... yep...

7AM open... yep... last time I checked that was the case.

From my conversations with the crew working at the shop, the bait man is delivering the minnows on Tuesdays.

The minnows are on the small side, but i was told they have ordered the big boys.

They are friendly and invited us to bring in mendo fish pics to hang in the shop.......nice for the ego.
