Brought it home yesterday, haven't paddled it much. I'm waiting for the mail to deliver it's bling-bling. I do have some first impressions though.
I like it's looks and layout. Nice lines. I like the front hatch that can double as a live well and/or fishbox. For now I'm also happy with how it maneuvers.
What I don't like is that it doesn't come with any seat. It also doesn't come with scupper plugs, and trying to find some that do fit is becoming a real chore. I'd appreciate ideas.
I can't really say yay or nay until I put some real hours on it.
More to come...

Juan get some of those foam practice golf balls, like these.

http://www.amazon.com/Mini-Putt-Golf-Balls-Sports/dp/B000LXUPDI/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&s=sporting-goods&qid=1212987249&sr=8-7

You can chop them to fit and they are pretty tight. Congrats on your new ride!

Juan I made some plugs from that packing foam that is similar to pool noodle foam. I trimmed it roughly and jammed it in, it conformed to the scupper holes nicely. Ty was happy that his butt didn't get wet!

Funny side note...I forgot the plugs were installed while Sean and I were "surfing" the wind chop in at Montezuma and my yak started riding low in the ass end. Good thing it wasn't in high surf....put handles on for easy removal!

Naw it's a cleaning solution for mildew kinda like 409.

It is a Malibu Kayak, kind of a smaller, refined version of and X-Factor, I believe....

Congrats! :smt001 I just got my X-13 too. :smt003 What color did you get? I went for the red. Seems like it's going to be a sweet boat on the water! Already put the 4in hatch in the tankwell, great for rear access. I'm thinking about putting another in the front livewell. I'm a little hessitant because I can envision a seal leak and a wet boat. I'd be interested in any mod's you're thinking about. I posted a wiki entry, check it out!

Juan, you probably won't need any plugs, at you weight you should be dry.
