ARW, 6.7.08, early crew

I met Relentless (aka Dave) at the ARW ramp at the early hour of 8:00am, sharp... we felt real lucky so we didn't bother to rush to get on the water until 9'ish (ask Relentless why)...

I had stopped at Mike's Bait... they were out of shiners so I ended up buying 5 crappy bullheads... but when Relentless showed up he had a big bucket of mega-sized smelts that he caught at Lake Merrit the night before... he hooked me up with 4-5 which was much appreciated, and will be repaid in beer.

Unfortunately, it was for naught... I caught one 20-21 incher and a small shark... that's it... saw one guy in a skiff hook and land about a 28-incher, and that was about it... very little chatter on the radio.

The weather was warm and FAC until about 1:00pm when the breeze started to pick up and I made way for the ramp.

Sooner or later I'll get my butt!

  was wondering if the wind was quiet over there too, sounds like it was nice,

 Sorry about the Butts not cooperating,  It seems to be all about right place @ the right time,

and I think they will hit anything....
