Stillwater, Carmel - Father's Day Sunday 6/15/08

My family and I will be heading to Stillwater for a Father's Day rockfish throwdown and beach bar-b-que weather permitting. Bringing a gas grill. Families welcome!

Would love to connect up for this, great idea. Need to check at home for any already made plans, but since it's Father's Day.... and being the dad, well seems like it should work and I know my wife would love to take her kayak out there. Anyway will check back in.

I would join you but I have to miss this hook up too.  I will be tuna fishing in San Diego that weekend on an overnight trip on the Apollo.  Seems like every time there is a big group hook up and BBQ I am busy.  oh well I'm sure there will be more.  Good luck if you go.

Scott, after toughing out at BH last week, I would say I'm ready to give L-K a try. This time for sure. I would like to join you if you are heading out there on Sun. Please keep this updated. I'm still bringing a helmet though

Steve - sounds good. My son will be there and we could have a dads against the sons MBF but we know who would win. 

Pat - since you are coming I will plan for fresh ling tacos with Etiennes favorite chipoltle sauce and beer. BTW, will have lots of babysitters for Sin Coast Jr if you and the Mrs want to go fishing.

WIND WAVES 2 TO 4 FT...INCREASING TO 4 TO 7 FT.
NW SWELL 7 TO 9 FT AND S 2 FT. PATCHY FOG.

We are good to go and will be bringing fish taco stuff and man dogs. Need a head count. No RSVP, no man dog.

Hey Scott,
Is this still a go? The fire situation here in Bonny Doon has calmed down for us (not the case for some of our friends and neighbors) and a day on the water would be a welcomed break.

I am back and I believe I will fish and my family will potentially paddle but more likely will join for the BBQ after.  Pat, will your family be joining for lunch?  Maybe our better halves and kids can carpool in to PB together to save on fees, fuel etc.?  I am excited to get back out on the big pond. 

A question regarding the parking: can we park anywhere along the hedge of bushes? I remember that some are marked reserved, should I be trying to reserve? Any intel appreciated?
