I usually go to East Park twice a year. The two main fish in the lake are bass and catfish. If your going to fish for bass go either by the damn or on the east entrance. There are a bunch of down trees etc. and if you get up early enough you can get minnows by the shore, so bring a bait net.As far as catfish chicken liver works pretty well mostly in the evenings.Over the years I have pulled some decent bass as well as catfish out of the lake. Two things, the bite is on either early mornings or evenings and the power boat tear the crap out of it during the day so be careful if your paddling around. I usually carry a hand held air horn for the idiots who aren't looking of whats going on. Needless to say I have had to use it several times.  Camping is FREE which is the best part and they have many Port-a-potties which they clean frequently. Here's a picture from last year.

I love that lake for some reason!  It can get really hot in the summer.  But there's quite a few fish there.  I've had great success with senkos for bass, (even mid-day!) and hot dogs for cats.  Can't beat free camping, and despite the apparent lack of law enforcement I've never had anyone keep me awake.  The east entrance is great if you can camp there, because there's tons of vegetation and the boats/jetskis generally avoid it.

I'm thinking of heading up there soon, actually.

North East of Clear Lake, near Stonyford.

Letts Lake also real close to EP, but I haven't fished there yet.  Looks like it could be a decent trout lake, (it's higher up the mountains).  It was froze over when I camped up there over New Years.
