Sunday the 8th Monterey?

Its been an agonising three weeks since ive been on the water and im starting to have withdrawls.......  ....Im going to go out into the deep blue but am indesisive on the location.Stillwater? San Carlos beach? MBK, well you get the picture. Anyone else heading out? I think I will pack the BBQ for lunch. ....Company Welcome... Andy

I'm tired of getting skunked around santa cruz.

My fishfinder will be delivered by tomorrow and I will hustle to get it installed..

FM1,I think I will take that offer!    Never been out to MBK, moss, or anywhere aside from Carmel to launch.  Going to see Grandma this Sat. over in Salinans.  Was either going to do a trip before seeing her and my dad, or just turn it into a recon outing for Sun.  Sounds to me like the latter will be the way to go, especially if your BBQ'ing!  Hows the launch at MBK?

I would join you but this Sat is my wedding anniversary and I don't think I will be up too early on Sun.  If I do make it out it wont be until later in the day.  But I need some more WAF points so probably not.

I haven't fished it yet, so I don't know where to park or what the fees are.
Do I need a cart? That is the last piece of equip I think I need but won't have it for this trip, I just spent money for a ff and other assorted items like a game clip, battery etc.
I can haul 2 yaks on my truck, so if someone wants to get together with me and ride from Aptos I'm cool with that.
I have plenty of parking at my house, so let me know, I'll drive the rest of the way down, or ride with someone.

A cart is not really needed, depending on how you do the parking.  I have used mine from the parking lot to the ramp, but you can also just offload and re-park.  You also need to avoid the closed pinnacles area while fishing, but need a gps for that really.  You can just stick with us and we will steer you clear.  As far as carpooling, im in SJ, so not sure if I can meet up early enought to do the transfer.

Sounds kinda like mother nature isnt going to work for us this weekend!!!!   So whats the game plan? I hate to give up that easy...Talk to me guys what do you think??? Andy
