It was a late night decision to hit Lake Sonoma.  Plan A was to fish bean hallow but hearing the weather report put me on plan B.  Launched a Yorty Creek as soon as the lady unlocked the gate.  I have been fishing this lake every sunday for about six weeks now and it just keeps getting better.  brought along about 18 minnows to feed the fish.  Started at this one spot, last 2 trips I've been broken off by this BIG bass.  Seems like this fish gets a running start a my minnow, peals off alot of line turn straight for me and has me in the trees, breaking the line, not disapointed he does it to me again. not a good way to start.  I spend a hr. hopping he bites again but nothing doin.  I move on over to another spot, turns out to be dinksville, these little bastards aint much bigger then the minows, so I move on over to the next spot and right away my bobber is gone, feels like a nice fish 2-3 lbs, land 3 that size in about 30 minutes along with a few dinks,  then I notice my bobber upends a gose under, I set the hook and its on, this thing pulls hard trying to get into the under water branches, then jumps trying to throw the hook.  This thing is starting to pull me around but I get it to the surface for a lip grap.  Game over, I win, 5.5 lb lmb. Caught a few more smallish  bass.  Down to my last minnow, I look for a good spot that just happen to be in the shade, I cast out, open a beer get a good drink and my bobber  goes deep , I set the hook , spilt my beer and hang on I'm goin for a ride.  This fish is taking me out into deep clear water no trees, cool but she tires out pretty quick, I land her with help of a net, 6.5 lbs.  Out of minnows, damn, now I have to work at this.  I start making my way back the the launch stoping by good looking spot along the way throwin hulla gubs in green pumpkinw/ black.  Caught 3 more bass biggest went 4.5 lbs.  Ended up with 13 lmb on minnows a 3 on hulla grubs by 2pm, wind was getting bad so I called it a day.  Best day I have ever had fishing for bass, all fish were released unharmed right where caught.
