I was not going to fish this weekend but had a opportunity to sneak out for a half day of fishing, so I gave my brother a call and off we went to the closes lake witch was San Pablo res. We got there at 6:30am only to fine that they open at 7:am now :smt011, then the clam check we where in the water by 8:am not to bad. Well it was a beautiful day little to no wind, so we started trolling to the dam buy the time we got to the dam we had boated seven trout between the two of us. But as soon as we got to the dam some one thru a switch witch turned on the wind. We went from dead clam to one to two foot chop and the wind was hitting us at the side all the way back the launch ramp a long hard paddle. But we did manage to boat two more trout, so are day total was 9 trout boated and 4 lost my biggest trout for the day 5lb 24 ¼ long her tall is not pretty but its points. Lures used where jointed Rapalas in silver and the firetiger both produced about the same and all where top lined, fun day of fishing. We also got to test out my kayak caddy bottom pic. Witch worked great :smt003.

Pretty fish. Have you loaded six kayaks yet? Your yak caddy looks very sturdy.

Nice work on the trout there Pat. :smt007   Not a bad day at all.

Great looking yak caddy too.  Did you buy it as is or did you build it yourself?  Either way, it is a beauty! :smt023

Thanks for the comments on the trailer I did build it from the ground up the kayak racks un-bolt so you can use the trailer as a utility trailer if you wanted to. I had to get it tested before Mendo, with the gas prices carpooling is good :smt006.

Nice report, Pat.  That yak caddy looks a little heavy for me to haul down the beach!  But I'll try it if you bring it around!   :smt003  Nice work.   :smt001

Hey Pat, I noticed that you blocked out your license number on the trailer? How do you expect me to cross reference you so I can go pick up that bad boy without you knowing? :smt004
