i am kind of tired so i will make this brief, here is my bay scouting report

i trolled from the big boat today.
calm in the morning, regular roughness by afternoon.
richmond 8 ft-1 shaker
paradise 20-30ft 1 keeper 2 shakers
berkeley flats 25 ft 1 keeper 2 shakers
west of angel island, big crowd 50 ft too difficult to troll, otjers were hooking up on live bait.
got back to the dock, jay from right hook sport fishing came in with several BIG butts all on live bait.
he said the bite has turned to live bait for now, and he had the proof,
it is seldom that i am humbled like that at the fish cleaning station, man it stings! :smt013

Chris-

Thanks for the intel... I was thinking about passing on the rockfish opener and going into the Bay for some but action... I think it's a no brainer now. Just got to find some live bait.

WTG Chris!  Yeah live bait is always the best I think. You DO cover more territory trolling, though.  hey two keeper butts ain't bad for anyone anytime!!

JTF:

Go for it, dude!!  If the tide is right, Angel Island was cooking last week.  Padle over from Tiburon, it's pretty easy during slack.

Also, jay Yokomizo says he's hitting the deeper spots now after all the pressure....bigger fish in the deeper spots, I think these are the females following up all the smaller males  in the shallow flats.

Hope you get 'em , brougham.
