Don't know if anyone has one they maybe don't want or don't need and would like to get rid of.  I am willing to take of your hands for free, buy for cheap, trade for labor or other stuff.  Got invited hiking and pack I planned to take is small/lame and isn't going to work and I don't really have any money for a new one from REI or whatever so anyways.  Any body can help a brother out?

Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

I have a top of the line 6500 cubic inch Mountainsmith that is in excellent condition. I'm not sure what you are looking for, but this pack was the heavy pack I used back when I used to guide backpacking trips in Arizona. If you're just doing an overnighter or a day trip, this pack would be overkill for you. I'm pretty sure it is either a Frostfire 65 or a Frostfire 7 that I paid about $300 for. I can check the model for you when I get home if you're interested. I would be willing to sell for $125 or trade for...?

BTW, where are you hiking? I've been in California for about 3 1/2 years now and all of my backpacking equipment has just sat in the closet.  :smt011
Searching is half the fun: life is much more manageable when thought of as a scavenger hunt as opposed to a surprise party. -Jimmy Buffett
