A BIG TOURNAMENT FOR A GREAT CAUSE
BENEFITING THE AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY

What:      The Worlds Largest Charity Kayak Fishing Tournament
In the name of our good friend Steve Moyer, who passed away from an inoperable brain tumor, all proceeds from this tournament will be going to the American Cancer Society.
The entrant to return to the weigh in with the single largest fish will win a fully outfitted fishing kayak, donated by Ocean Kayak, which will include a custom bait tank from Kayak4Fish.com, plus cash. There will be prizes for the top three finishers as well as top Female angler, junior angler, and largest fish caught from each of the major kayak manufactures boats. Each entrant will receive an event T-shirt and goodie bag as well as admission to our huge event BBQ and raffle.
Sponsors include; Ocean Kayak, Shimano, Baja Resorts, Maui Jim sunglasses, and many more. Once again, we will have boats on the water providing bait to the participants, bait provided by Everingham Brothers Bait co. This has been the biggest event of its kind every year and we hope to continue that tradition. Last year we had 125 entrants and we think we will pass that this year. If anyone has thought about getting into kayak fishing this would be a great time to see what it is all about, everyone is welcome to come by and view the launch or come by the awards BBQ and meet some of the participants.

Dear Fellow Yakers:

I would like to Carpool with someone. My Wife is a Nurse. She can't take any time off and, need the use of our car. We could stay with my Son for free who, has a Condo close to San Diego State. The Condo has a swiming pool and hot tub. I'l share in the cost off gas. I'm from San Diego and, miss my home town. The ratio of girls to men is 3:1 F.Y.I. for you single Yakers! :smt003

Dear Fellow Yakers:

A good place to stay and save some money is,
Andrea Villa Inn, La Jolla  a ** From $75.00-$105.00/night
The Inn doesn't have a ocean view and , is five  blocks from La Jolla Shores.  Ja Jolla is not a cheep place to stay! A **** hotel with a beach view is approx. $340per night 5 night Min. at some Hotels.
Better book soon or let's carpool and you can stay for free at my Sons place .
