Got into some nice stripers this morning 5/23 *PICS*

Hit up a new spot to me. got there at 5 am. Put the yak in about 5:30 and fished for maybe 2 hours. 7 stripers, 5 were legal size. Biggest two went 27" and 29". Can't wait to get back out there!

It's pretty awesome to go to a new spot and slay the fish.  Doesn't usually happen...for me at least.  Nice Fish!

Thats it... Im gonna have to bite the bullet and drive 3 hours over there into your neck of the woods so we can hook up.  That is gonna be a long day!

No Eric, you dont want to catch a striper someday... you NEED to.  It is a life changing experience... it was for me anyway.  Problem is you will want to move south...

Not likely, Bryan.     I'm allergic to traffic, phobic of too many people, and happy right here.  Yeah, catching a striper does sound fun though.   

Yeah, your right.  You have it better up there for sure.  I still have a dream of bailing out of the golden state and moving to washington someday.  Stripers are a serious kick in the ass though.

One of my goals is to fish for stripers on the east coast where the 40# are the norm. What you say Jeff road trip just before the season opens and hit all the hot spots until we reach the the east coast then get into some monsters?

I have a friend who does that almost every year with his Boston striper boat in tow.Then goes south to Florida for Tarpon. Takes him about two months.

WTG Jeff!! Those are some quality fish. I can't wait to make it up there for some striper fishing.
