Felt like keeping fishing simple this weekend, and it doesn't get much simpler than just staying in the A and hittin' the wall.  Pushed off just before 8am.

Did some trolling until the winds kicked up, then switched to a swimbait and cast that around while drifting.  The wind working together with the incoming tide made the drift crazy fast, but I managed to stick another just legal (23-24") hali.  Didn't measure, just a couple pics and a wet release.

I wish I had my camera ready the first time I made a grab for the fish's tail.  The fish wanted NONE of it, and started another run with an impressive tail walk aross the surface of the water.  I finally ended up grabbing the leadhead and giving it a shake for the release.
By then the water was lumpy, and I was sunburned so I called that good and left to go eat.

Lotsa boats out there, but no other kayakers that I saw.

Dude!  I got my yak, let me know when you're hitting the wall next.
Good luck and tight lines.
