If you enjoy eating indian food, especially biryani, you have got to try this. I use shan fish biryani mix. It's my favorite. Instructions are included in the box but you don't necessarily have to use all the exotic hearb in the recipe. Some may not be easy to get.

And also, the ghee (indian style clarified butter) is kinda expensive so I just use regular butter. However, you MUST use indian style basmati rice, a bag of 25lb at costco for $15. Please DO NOT use jasmine rice, it'll ruin it.

Let me know if any question.
Have fun.

That looks absolutely exquisite, James!  Thank you for posting it - I need more options to the Panko.  I'll be looking for the Shan Fish Biryani Mix.   :smt001

No prob, Abking.

I was wondering what you meant by Panko, now I know, saw your vid. Nice man, wish I could record mine too, step by step. Don't have a camcorder, maybe one of these days.

Here is how Shan Biryani mix looks. Showing the one for meats because I threw the box away. You need to get the one for fish. You can only get these from some Indian super markets, $1 each. If you can't find it where you are at, I can get you some so let me know.
