FREE FISHING TRIPS
Rick Starr of the UC Cooperative Extension Sea Grant Program and Captain Roger Thomas of the Golden Gate Fishermen’s Association are working with Commercial Passenger Fishing Vessels and recreational anglers in the San Francisco Bay area to catch and tag fish near Bolinas, California. The purpose of this collaborative research is to learn about species composition, abundance, and movements of fish at Duxbury Reef.
We are looking for volunteer rod and reel anglers to participate in this study.

You do not need a fishing license

Equipment such as rods, reels, and tackle will be provided

This is a catch and release project, so you cannot retain any fish.
Dates:
June 9th and 10th, 2008
Location:
Sausalito's Clipper Yacht Harbor
** Meet at the boat at 5:30 am and return in the afternoon**
If you are interested in fishing either of the above dates or would like more information, please contact:

I did one a few years ago and it was fun and great for learning fish IDs.

It would be to hard on the fish they release as fast as they can. Mama ship trips don't count anyway :smt002
