Will there be a HMB tourney this year? I like donating to it :smt002.

Nothing planned yet. We are most likely shooting for a little later in the year, with the hope of better conditions. Given the current state of the RCG season though that seems a bit dicey.

I should have a final date in the next few weeks.

Bill:
I am trying to fit in the angler of the day tourney for the third week in July.  SO let me know when HMB is, I don't want to overlap.

It does not look like this is going to happen this year but we are going to have another event most likely in September.

Any updates? I'm all for an even that I can get to on a single tank of gas.

If there's any organising assistance required or on-the-day chores that would help get it off the ground I will gladly pitch in.

I spoke with Doug and Chris from HMB Kayak Company yesterday and I asked if we could just do a informal "Money Between Friends" tourney and they were more than happy to help out in any way possible.

*MBF is not in anyway an NCKA or HMB Kayak Company sanctioned tournament / event so no liability and waivers - this is  stricktly a voluntary event - between friends...just so you all know.

You can camp on the parking lot and pay the fee at the Harbor Masters office - as long as you sleep on your vehicle (you cannot pitch a tent). The fee, I believe is about $20.00 a night. Porto potties are available until the public restrooms are restored.

If you want a real campsite, go here: http://www.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=531
It's only about 5 miles South of the HMB Harbor (just past Hwy 92)

We can do tailgate party before and after the tourney - HMB Kayak Co. said we can use their lot as well.

I'll get a date going after the BAM event :smt002 - Stay tuned!!!
