Gotta disagree with you there Judd I enjoy having part of the lake only accessible by boat without discarded lawn chairs and beer bottles.
That would be a pretty tough trail and very expensive but I'm sure if you would be willing to fund and maintain it the Corps would build it.
There is a trail but it is mostly ridgeline(on the eastside) and  it is pretty much unused the only people I have seen on the East side are Boy Scouts doing their 100 miler.
Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.
