hmmm.  I bet I have the most ghetto/red-neck fishing kayak here.
he at least has a trolling motor.

In terms of  the ratio of $$fish-caught/$$equipment-bought tho,
that's the way to go!

How about this sailfish tournament where the contestants fished from inner tubes?  http://www.missbritt.com/pressrel/05_02_05agDay.htm  The winner caught and released 7 sailfish including a quadruple header in which he got all 4.  Amazing!

At our houseboat on the delta we used to have this dude who fished off a 6x4 chunk of styrofoam that got ripped off a dock.  He would launch off the side of the road and work the banks for bass and bluegill.  He was powered by the tide and made adjustments with an old wooden plank.

Yep, part of the fun is seeing how much you can patch together yourself. I'll bet we all got stoked when we zip tied PVC pipe pieces to our respective milk crates & then started customizing. The coolest things are the creative solutions that we all come up with, like the hot new item "rod floaties" for example. Now that I've seen 'em I gotta get some.
That's a truly great shot of the lawn chair catamaran and it's "captain".

That's a pretty sweet ride.  All it really needs to make it perfect is a beer holder.  I bet you could simply cut a beer-sized hole in one (or both) of the foam pontoons and you would be golden.
