The photo is very blurry, but I have no doubt that that's a pipefish, a close relative to a sea horse.

Yep- a pipefish.  We used to have a dried one that rode around on the dashboard of our subaru!!  I looked at it every day!! :smt003 :smt003 :smt003

I found a dead pipefish on the beach at low tide when I was a kid, but never did see a live one. Neat catch Duane.
