I launched out of the fort about 9:00 both days (I couldn't drag myself outta bed for some reason.  Tuesday 7 caught lot's of small rockies and a couple o' short lings.  I did bring a monster to the surface (his blue head looked bigger than mine).  But my drag stuck and he snapped me off like it was  nothing.  I kept a few tacos.

The water was smooth as glass

Wednesday.  there was a little wind and it was pretty bumpy but I caught plenty of rockys a short ling.  I also hooked two cabs one 'bout 16 inches   and one about 25 inches (I kept the 25"...fortuantlly, I caught him first.    all in all it was a great two days.  My wife dropped me off and she and my kids helped me carry my stuff then came to pick me up...I didn't have to hike that hill at all!   :smt041

What was the weight on the 25"er?  Bet Bill's sweating.   :smt003
The legend lives on from the Chippewa on down
Of the big lake they call Gitche Gumee
Superior, they said, never gives up her dead
When the gales of November come early.

My scale was on the blink and said 2 lbs...I'm guessing closer to 10...but Bill's safe anyway, I didn't get in on the pool.   :smt010
