berkley live bait sat 4-26-08

fatboy and I will be launching from the boat ramp at Berkley marina, paddle over to the bait dock then out to brooks
then we will let the wind blow us home in the afternoon maybe hit the pier to .we will try for live smelt Fri night
but if that don't happen we will just get anchovies

i wanna go. however, allan (otobe...) got a ticket for no trailer, despite buying a launch ticket.  the signs say no parking without trailer until 1 pm.

if we get smelt we could go to the dice but if we don't it will have to be berk because it's to hard to transport anchoives

maybe if you put a note in your window explaining that you are kayaking and you are using the ramp

 I've always used the launch and then park out on the street,  just hate to give Berkeley Money,

 I used to average 6 parking tickets a year while living in " That Place "

 Good luck trying to get any info From those Trolls!!!!!

 Once, my wife's license plates were stolen, while waiting for police that never showed,

 she was given a ticket ( By a metermaid ) for not having a License plate,

went in person to try and clear it up, Total Frustration led to me cutting my Loses and just paid up...

I usually launch at the transient dock by the yacht club.  You can cart  your yak down the dock and flop it in the water from the dock.  Free parking there too.  Never had a problem doing that.

        i propose we launch at ggf early, troll for stripers, then get the bait.

i talked to chuck, he thinks there is some parking available along the north side of the lot.
i am in. do we split a scoop of bait 3 ways or what? 6am sound good?
