Now keep a closer eye on your beer this year, or better yet leave the jackies at home!  :smt044

Time to start looking for the ultimate Ling jig....

So happy to be in early this year instead waiting for the nail biting 11th hour :smt003.

Oh, & when I said clusterf...  earlier, that in no way was meant to reflect on how the sign up thing was organized.  It was completely a dig at myself.

When I got in & saw the "Elk Open" heading I let out a Mooch scream, started pounding on the keyboard like it was the head of a 20lb lingcod, and fired off an email without any identifying signature, only the words, "gimme info!". I had momentarily regressed to a 4yr old looking under a christmas tree (if that tree was a kayak and had huge rockfish swimming around under it).
I look forward to contributing to making this event another success, and feel honored to be included in such a prestigeous gathering of yak anglers (wait, is that an oxymoron?)

I have stoke today, even though I'm stuck at a desk.

I'm stoked that I'm in!  The check and waiver are in the mail.  This will be a first for me and I'm really looking forward to it.  I'm sure it will be major fun.  I've been through Elk many times, but never fished in the area.
Thanks Picean for the heads up, and Sean for putting together what I'm sure will be an awesome kayak fishing event.

Jim
