Skunk. Fished from 10am till 2pm. Troll/drift chovies. Worked the flats around the hole that runs parallel to the  wall, up to the Hook/gap, and out to the end. Then north 1/4 mile and a long wind drift back to Ballena Bay. Conditions were great on the water, semi glassy untill the wind came up and gave me a long side saddle drift all the way back to the ramp. The tides were a little too big and water clarity suffered, although there were patches with decent vis.

Hey Sharky, thanks for the report. It's impressive how often you get out there. I plan to fish there this Saturday morning, hope to see you there.

thanks for the lastest and not so greatest :smt012  I understand that the bigger tidal swings are not the most favorable for Halibut, they are lazy and don't like to fight the current, combine that with the bad-vis and your talking a tough hunt. The wind is supposed to subside for the weekend though....who knows what it will bring?
