Love that bendo pic EK! The image on the FF is the topper. First time you saw that you must of been like what the fuuuuuuuu???  Do you think that if you didn't cut it free and fought it to the boat it would of died? From what I've heard it seems like when dinos tap out they're pretty much done.

I think they are pretty hearty... not sure what the mortality rate is on C&R, but it certainly can't be too good for them to fight them to exhaustion.

It was definitely a memorable experience.  I wish I had three hands, I could have photos my rod in full bendo when I was hoisting that fish to the surface... it was pretty insane.  I was actually bracing myself in case the rod snapped so I wouldn't fall overboard.
