Had very little time after getting the Fellas off to school and such, too late for the tide @ China, so

stick with the plan and head to Montezuma for 2.25 hrs of fishing... :smt001

Suison Bait tells a tale of " Sturgeon Gone wild " with recent pics, 65 and 3/4 incher... :smt012

as the kicker. Pile worms " Been Great ".. :smt003

Ok..Ok.. feeling good about this,  get on the water, tide is to be high @ 12:00,

Nothing really happening except for some " Monsters " Jumping.... :tongue2:

Tide finally starts out flow @ 1:00 ... Ok, still got a 1.25 hrs left, ..." Tap... Tap..."

Swing for the Fences ....  Feel a Huge Head swing twice... Gone.... :smt010

Ok.. Ok... still got some time here... " Tap... "  " Swing"... Miss :smt013 " F#$@!@!!!"......

No Problem,  cause it's on.... Increase in jumping action and I can Feel it's going to happen...

Load up another ball of Pile Worms...and... " RinGggggg "... S#$@!T, F-ing Cell phone :smt013

 " Oh No!!! Wife!!!!.... :smt061... :smt100

" Noah Is in the School Office, He doesn't feel well, can you go pick him up?..."

:smt010  " Yes Dear..... "  Still tried the Hail Mary for another five minutes wondering what I would do

 if I Hooked up..... :smt102

Well, I guess my long bit of whining is to say,

I think Montezuma has turned on. My Fish Finder is on the blink, but plenty of Monsters Jumping.

I think the Hot Ticket if the wind stays down would be a Late afternoon bite as the out go will be

around 2pm tomarrow and so on and so on, Friday should be awesome if the weather holds,

I'm off to work for 2 days, but maybe afternoon Friday,

Still,   Got to love these Hobie pedals for Sturgeon Rod Holders :smt007...

 Damm, so close :smt011

Nice effort.  Keep swinging, you'll get'em.  I like the secret Hobie rod holders.  Is that an outback you're in?

I've never tried sturgeon fishing, but I'm sure it would be a blast to hook a big one.  Next year I may add an anchor to my rig so I can try it.

Thanks for the report Danglin. You got me fired up! It's good and bad. The fishing sounds good but not being able to attend is bad  :smt009.
In your pic, are you using two rods at the same time? Can a person do this with a two-rod stamp? I'm just curious, because I wouldn't do it anyhow. Too much work.
How deep were you fishing?
If you don't know where you're headed, any road could get you there.

" 2 Rods East of the Carquinez Bridge " with stamp of course,  20 to 30 ft, they were jumping all over...

Ya, it is a lot of work, but it takes some of the boredom out of Sturgeon fishing, lots to look at with two

rods. Something else to consider is " What to do with the other Rod if suddenly your surfing?..."

Another thing, on the second " swing " there was actually two swings on that one.

I got the tap... Swung,  and let it set again, and Mr. Dino came back!!! I'm fairly sure it was a Dino Hit,

Just Felt different. Man, :smt011 I wish I did not work tomarrow.....

NICE job Danglin!!! Sounds like we both just missed Dino's today. Darn it, to bad your working tomarrow we could have hooked up. FYI I took the PB out the other day and drifted Paradise for Butts. Three hours and two Anchovies came up scratched. Another week or two...... cant wait for a yak butt. BE SAFE.

Solid effort Don... the little tap tap could've been a smallish kitty eating your bait ball. Last December, I was getting raped by the little guys. I hooked one and I swear, they wouldn't leave me alone. Finally, got that little tap tap... and swung... Anyways, it could've been a kitty messing with you or it could've been the real deal... I like to think it was the real deal. I'm out of sturgeon meat in the freezer. Were you fishing for dinos with both rods or did you have one rigged for stripers? Stripers should be making a showing real soon if not already.

I hear ya, they have been scratching @ me all year, this was different, and the first loss,
It was Mr. Dino.. Boths rods all dino with huge balls of pileworms.

it was lively out there today, I still say a late afternoon hunt should do it....
