I too agree!  looks like fun in the sun.....when's the next surf sess?
We (as a group) got to play in the tiny surf down here after a surf/safety class we took last year.....first it was school in, then they let us out for recess!
thanks for the pics and replays!

Yeah, wish we could have hooked up. Always more fun with company and you get to enjoy the other triumphs and wipe outs!! Man the water was cold!!! instant headaches after a soak. I'm up for more sessions for sure. Each time out is an education and improves your techniques. Makes you more prepared for the times your out there fishing. I found it helpful to put my paddle blades in alignment instead of opposing. That way I didn't turn the paddle the wrong way when I had to brace on the boil. No time for mistakes when your in the surf zone... Friday the wind was blowing hard and cold and I accually stopped when it became hard to hold the paddle with frozen hands... Great work out too... :smt003

I dont get cold when Im out there in the zone. I think its a healthy mix of fear and fun that outweighs any uncomfortable temps. Have to confess that I do wear gloves/boots though and I was starting to feel it when I was out there playing the part of "photogirl" while Allen and Kenny enjoyed a few more rides.
Im excactly the opposite on the paddle gig. If I dont have my paddle feathered ill swing, miss, and end up swimming. Ive got alot to spend money on these days but I am hoping to pick up the Kaos soon and give the mini-X a rest from these poundings.  It really is a blast in surf and punches into small waves with authority but it takes on alot of water really fast and requires frequent stops.
I have to agree and restate    GREAT workout!
