Just bought a "divorce boat" (as Mooch likes to call em) for paddling in slow water.  Its good for WAF slow paddling.

A Pamlico 135T for $640 at Kayak Connection's blowout in Santa Cruz (w/ 10% discount on accessories.)  REI is selling the same boat for $800.  So I think I got a pretty good deal.

They've still got a great selection and Mark is a pleasure to deal with.  I didn't even bother trying to haggle down the sale price, such is my fondness for Mark and KC!! :smt003

Check em out when your in the area, or get into the area to check them out.  Either way, go take a look.

:smt006 Hey Yakuza, Congrats!  It looks like a nice little tandem, and a good price.

And don't worry about the "divorce boat" thing. My long time GF and other friends love going tandem in my electric Bobcat Boat, same size as your new Pimlico.  It's really fun to go tandem, and has strengthened or relationship and other friendships. Sometime four of us get in a giant canoe too, and that's really fun.  As long as you have a single kayak or two, you'll be fine :smt007

Cheers,  -Matt
