DinoHuntin the weekend long.....meet a new/old face 3/8-3/9

Was gonna hit Clearlake again....cold front blew in Fri. and nixxed that plan...then was gonna chase some Butt off the wall....too early still.....then i get a call to meet over at Paradise to hunt some sturg...so off i go!
While unloading, I look up and see a kayak'd SUV with BIG, BAD,MEAN LOOKING GUY in it?
out pops KingFisher the newb!
I did feel a light tap....swung for the fences.....felt a head shake and yelled out accordingly!!..... IT WAS FISH ON!!!!..

had live and kickin ghost/grass shrimp left over...so headed to Montezuma Slough the next morning to continue my hunt.......after the low-lull, the water began moving fast...got a tap and set the hook...into a small striper!......hat was it for the WHOLE DAY!
side note***as i sat for 7+hrs, a PB w/3guys had a good day of setting a hook into a big dino......I watched and listened for the 30min. it took to boat the beast...and a few were caught the day before as well........
another side note~~saw the guy from the FishSniffer(young, chubby w/beard) clip his wife with the trailer and as she fell to the pavement, he finsihed her off by running over her foot, then they went fishing.....I'm sure she's felling it today!.....and he got his in the boat, soon after launching.

Keep putting your time on the water... and more time... and more time... and more time... and more time... and more time... you get the picture. You'll get one... sooner or later. CL was off the hook. That front that scared you away had no effect up there. You wuss... ha... The fish were biting all over the place. All the fish were in the 3,4,5lb range. There were some smaller ones and bigger ones but basically, they were all nice healthy fish. But you don't need a big bass... do you... Maybe next time...

Just trying to light the fire bro... again. It's still early though...   No between the lines there. It was just a great weekend of catching fish. Perfect weather... except for the cold mornings... brrrrrrrrrrrr. Let's do it already...

Z...as i set up, there were 3 pb's trying to get they're motors started as they all chocked on each others fumes....one made it out...two went home.

Yo Adam (my newest Fav5 addition) ..... I was wondering what you did this weekend.  I stayed around home this weekend to build some WAF.

As Freddie eluded, focus on catching that AOTY dino while the season's in full swing.  Big bass are no problem for da FishHunter.

wow, saturday was slow, total skunk.  the first time i have ever taken a nap on my kayak.  i woke up snoring , i probably slept 10 minutes!
