Slow at Black Point 3/5

Got otw @ 930, drifted WAY upstream trolling a big mudsucker, then back on the outgoing till I got just outside the trestle, then anchored and went ghost. Just a couple of good hits for the day but it sure was nice out there.
Would like to try that upstream drift again, there sure are a lot of sloughs and strreasms and stuff up there. And lots of fish marked. Saw a big sturge close to shiore, looked like a Sacramento alligator.

Good try and thanks for the report. Its just a matter of time until all h@#$ breaks loose in SPB and the Stripers and Sturgeon make a strong showing.

Too bad you didn't get a pic of that gator.

After 2 sad letters from us, pentax sent a rebuilt camera to replace the one that drowned. Here's the action shot from yesterday, almost knoked me off the yak when it woke me up...
