My take on the Seats (Mini review)
I have 3 seats and I also had the Crazy Creek III which is a nice seat I think the inflatable back is overkill I returned it because it ripped by  one of the strap attachment points on it's maiden voyage. Just cosmetic no biggie probably just a freak.

Surf 2 Summit Tall Back Outfitter I love this seat super durable all the back support I need, very light, backbag is just the right size, just needs a little thicker butt pad. Entry and exit into this seat is the best. I use this seat for short trips (4hrs) or when I'm getting in and out of the kayak.

GTS Elite the Recaro of Kayak seats fits and looks great glues you to the kayak. The back is super supportive and cushy, definitely my Ocean Seat. I just wish they had used a little firmer foam in the seat area. My 6 hour seat.

GTS Pro Like sitting on your couch great back support super thick butt pad, you sit noticeably higher in this seat and I was worried it would raise the COG too much but I didn't feel much difference although on a slimmer Kayak you might. Because you sit higher paddling and casting are enhanced. I really like the lower back and it didn't effect the back support. For long days on the lake or Dino Hunting  this seat is the bomb.

Well, I got my STS GTS seat on Friday. I got to do a small test paddle on Sunday with scallen. Went out looking for an early season halibut but got chased off the water by the wind. My booty was very comfy for the short 2.5 hour paddle.

Any Tarpon owners out there who use a seat like this?  I want to buy one, but not sure how it fits the tarpons.  I haven't looked to closely at the manufacturer's built in seat to see how easy it is to remove.  All I know is it is uncomfortable and I need the butt support. (230 lbs).
