Gonna try it again next weekend, hopefully the next weather system won't be so rough.

I'm going to launch from Tower Marina this time (Kings was great, but $10/day gets expensive.)  There are a lot of tules to fish and hunt for Big Mama Bass.  Worms and jigs should still be the right bait.  Maybe spinnerbait/cranks as well.

Anyone interested may come along.

Have you thought about Westgate landing? It is a bit more paddling for good spots but I think it is $3 to park and there is no launch fee.

I'm still heading into Whites Slough from Tower Marina Saturday and Sunday.  Going to troll a bit for stripers, then go on a LMB hunt in the tules.  Launching about 6:45 to 7:15 from Tower Marina.

All are welcome to join in.  Bass are getting more active as the water begins to thaw.

I might join you.  I would say depending on weather, but look where that got me last weekend.  You had a wind advisory in your area and still hooked fish.  I didn't have the wind advisory @ Del Valle, and got blown around like a leaf with no bites.

Which day are you thinking of 152sumo?

Jeffrm20 see you Sunday, weather looks okay, not great.

Only 4% chance of rain and 97.125% chance of catching fish.  Winds look a lot better than last weekend too.  Lots of rip-rap and tules...bring those crankbait/rip baits.  Spinnerbaits are starting to work as well.  Jigs/worms for the tules.  Should be fun.

If I don't have to work,  I can go Sat.  No plans for Sunday yet, so it looks like I can do at least Sunday.  Maybe both days if you are planning it.

I am free Saturday and Sunday.  Tower Park Marina it is.  The weather report looks promising.

Gonna see you out there tomorrow Ben? I'll be there early. Maybe before the sun comes up.

See you early then...

It was slow today.  The wind and low tide did not help.  Thinking of heading north to Sycamore tomorrow.  The float tubers have a tournament in whites tomorrow.  Plus the wind will blow us home (hopefully).

Launch from Tower at 7:00.  Go north towards Sycamore Slough.  It will be new territory to me, but I have heard some good reports for LMB and stripers.  Perhaps fish the tules just south of Tower Marina later in the day.
