Hey guys,
I just thought I'd share a little work in progress with ya.  This is a commission for a client and is not done yet.  I am pretty stoked on the sand, but it came out good enough that it makes other parts look crappy, so I still need to work in some details and fix some contrast and color issues.

I pray for the day that I find all three of these species this thick, diving or fishing.

Enjoy!

Thanks all.  You know I figure, since I cant catch them or shoot them now, I'll paint them.  At least thats what I did my freshmen year of high school (except I painted naked ladies). Maybe next time I'll put it in the fishing reports.

.....limit of sanddabs, two starry flounder, and a 25lb halibut using a sand pigment with flecks of white on a sable hair surprise....

Oh and PISCEAN, I have the same sentiments about your work as well. I hope you share too each time something new comes out of the studio.

Anyway off to work on a beautiful day on the bay.

Beautiful work.... Yeah it would be nice to see those fish that plentiful in the wild. When the Hali's are in we can do the Old Berkly Pier and catch a few with the East Bay Crew.

Oooh, that would look cool!  A school of WSB swimming through the kelp like one of our last boat rides would look pretty cool also.  Just as if we were looking down spotting the fish from the surface right before I point at them. :smt103 :smt012 :smt003
