X-Factor rod holders?

Hello-
          I'd like to start off thanking Sean from GWKC for setting me up with my X-Factor. It is supper sturdy and I'm very happy with it.

I'd like to utilize the two front flush rod holders and install two taller rod holders.

Any recommendations on rod holders that will fit into my existing flush mounts would be appreciated.

Fish on!   

In my experience, the existing flushmounts work awesome right out of the box, I have trolled many miles with that setup and caught a LOT of fish. 



Anything higher and/or closer will in all likely get in the way of paddling.  Scotty gimble mount will drop right into those flushmounts however.  A small piece of pipe insulation around the gimbal mount will make them snug.

The best advice I can give any new yak owner is to fish it stock a while before adding anything.  You won't know what you really want for until you fish and paddle for a while.

I agree w/ SCWA. He suggested the same and has worked perfectly, even when some fatty salmon hit. Can't beat the minimalist setup!

True and true, Scwa and Z.  Watch out for short-ended rods though.  I lost one while on the river the other day.  $11 Walmart Shakespeare setup - musta bounced out while I wasn't looking...
